Fellowship Baptist Church - Moorebank
About Us
We are a stand alone local church that comes together as a family of people to worship and honour God. We meet regularly to pray, worship and learn from God’s Word. Our focus is to teach the Word of God so that we are better equipped to live and honour our great God. God’s Word has the answers to all of life’s problems - and it starts with a personal relationship with God Himself.

Leadership
Shane and Cathy have been married for over 30 years and live in the local area.Shane has been the Pastor since 2017. He has a background in leadership and coaching. Shane enjoys watching live sport, reading books, the ‘occasional’ coffee, breeding aviary birds, bike riding and watching their kids play sports. One day, he wants to build a pond in his backyard and keep turtles.
Cathy is a mum, school teacher, and Pastor’s wife. She loves spending time with people and being a mum, and is the biggest fan of their kids. Cathy enjoys going to the beach, sunsets, reading, eating chocolate, and watching a crime show on TV.
Aside from those temporary pleasures, Shane and Cathy love sharing the amazing news of Christ with others and seeing people grow in their understanding of our Great God.
One of the highlights of their year is working with a bunch of Christian volunteers at Camp Toukley for disadvantaged and marginalised children.
When do we meet?
We meet every Sunday morning at 10.00am for approximately 1.5 hours. We praise God with singing, hear from the Word of God and then enjoy fellowship after the service with a morning tea provided.
Our services are relaxed and family friendly. We have a kids church program to cater for infants to late primary school age children
Midweek fellowship and Bible study groups are at the church and in local homes in the area.
Our Beliefs
We believe the Bible to be the verbally complete, infallible and inspired Word of God.
We believe there is only one true and living God, existing in three equal
Persons: the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe that Jesus Christ is God manifest in the flesh, conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin. He lived a life of sinlessness and died vicariously for sinners. He rose bodily from the grave and is seated at the right hand of God the Father.
We believe that Christ will return again for His Church and after the tribulation period, will set up His kingdom on earth.
We believe in the divinity of the Holy Spirit and that He is active in the salvation of the Elect, and active in growing us to be more like Christ.
We believe in the reality of Satan.
We believe in the literal and straightforward Genesis account of creation.
We believe all people, through Adam, have a totally depraved nature, being born dead spiritually, and cannot do anything on their own to change that state.
We believe that salvation is a sovereign work of God’s grace.
We believe that one can only be made righteous before God through the shed blood of Christ on the cross, and an individual’s faith in Christ alone.
We believe that all men and women will face God on the judgment day, and those not saved and living in a personal knowledge of Christ will be condemned to hell.
We believe those that have put their faith and trust solely in the risen Saviour, upon departing life on earth, will be with our Lord, praising and serving in everlasting peace and life.
